Waldorf, MD (October 3, 2021) – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident in Waldorf on Friday afternoon. At around 3:24 p.m. on October 1, emergency services were notified that their on-site assistance was needed in an accident on Woodville Road.
Authorities reports indicate that a motorcycle and van were involved in a collision in the afternoon hours at Block 15300 on Woodville Road.
The incident left the driver with serious injuries. An off duty Charles County sheriff officer responded to the scene and attempted life-saving measures for the victim. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Brooks Leigh Buckler, died from his injuries.
The incident is currently under investigation.
