Northern Kentucky University had 120 student-athletes inducted into the 2021 Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll, the league office announced last week.

To qualify for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have competed in their sport’s final season, complete three semesters as a full-time student at the same institution, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20.

NKU had a department-wide GPA of 3.41 this fall after 28 NKU athletic students achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0 and were inducted into the President’s Roll of Honor. Another 77 student-athletes earned between 3.6 and 3.99 GPA to earn a nod on the Dean’s List. This is the 21st consecutive semester with a departmental grade point average of 3.0 or higher and the 15th consecutive semester with a departmental grade point average of 3.2 or higher.

The Horizon League had 1,510 student-athletes on its Fall 2021 roll of honor.
